Hey guys! Most of you know our mom, Marlene French. You may know her through me or my sister Amy Thore. Or for the time she worked at Henderson, Baxter Taylor & Gatchel and White and Allen. Well, as most of you know she has been diagnosed with small cell lung cancer. After being diagnosed she underwent surgery in which they removed her lung. She spent about 5 days in ICU and then 2 in the regular hospital. She began chemo this past Monday in which she will continue for 12 weeks. After chemo she will participate in radiation treatments. And then after that she will also have some radiation done on her brain. This type of cancer is aggressive and spreads rapidly and we are praying that with the removal of the lung and the treatments that this cancer will not return. If she goes 5 years without the cancer coming back she will be considered cancer free. She has 23% chance of reaching that five year goal. As you can imagine the medical expenses are already astronomical. She is not able to return to work at the moment either which doesn't help with the stacking medical bills. It is times like these that we should all lend a hand and help one another. We are asking that you help us raise money for our mom. To help with medical bills and daily living expenses during this time of treatment. We want our mom to be able to FIGHT with all she has and not worry so much the financial part of it...as well as our dad. So we ask you donate any portion you see fit. Even if it is $1.00.
