Mission Trip to Uganda!
Donation protected
Hey everyone! I'll start by saying that I'm beyond grateful for the opportunities and blessings God has given me these last few months, more than ever. I've quickly made HopeCity Church in Houston, TX my second home. I serve as an Usher weekly as well as the Baptism team monthly. Here, I've been blessed with the opportunity to become part of an upcoming mission trip to Kampala/Jinga Uganda.
On July 6th, 2018 (3 days after my birthday, what a gift!) a rather large part of my church and myself will be traveling to Uganda to serve in eight villages along with two prisons. We'll be planning work in each village and an outreach event on the land to culminate. Below I have listed some work that we will be doing and organizations we will be working with:
* So-Light: To bring solar powered lighting to dark huts and families that can't afford kerosene for light at night.
*Social workers have partnered with drug stores and other companies for women's sanitary products for donations and educational materials.
*Conducting Jigger camps to put shoes on childern in need.
*Potentially painting and landscaping
Through the support of mission trips like this one, and your donations, my HopeCity family and myself have the potential to help thousands of poverty-stricken families in Uganda. Even the the smallest donations will help me be able to be apart of change this year.
Thank you so much for both your prayers and sharing.
May His Will be done!!
