I need a car

So I am a recent college grad new to Los Angeles and the LA lifestyle. I love everything about being in a new big city. The energy it brings and the motivation keeps me going and positive about my future. I have a great part-time job working as a personal assistant for a woman in the entertainment industry who has done just about everything you can think of. She is a true go-getter and a great mentor.
I first got out here about 2months ago and I started renting a car to help get around the city and do my job as a personal assistant. I had a great idea of using the car to drive Lyft, which is a company similar to Uber to help pay for the rental. Which really did help, in the beginning. After awhile it stared to get too expensive. So I started looking at other options like leasing programs through different companies that they offered to Lyft drivers.
The first option I looked up was a program Lyft offered to their drivers through Hertz. They offer you a car to drive Lyft for $180 a week which included insurance and nothing was due when picking up the car. So I applied and was approved within a couple of days. I head to my scheduled appointment just to be told that I had to be 25years old to qualify. For those who don’t know, I’m 24 and will be 25 in LESS than a month. So that was a big whoop...
My second option was through a company called Breeze. They offer you a Prius for a $99 signup fee and down payment of $75... very doable! The problem I had with them is that it took over a month to get assigned a car and literally the day of picking up the car (Today actually, how funny :/) I get a phone call saying that they are cancelling all leasing contracts and will be giving me a full refund. What else could I say, but ok?
Now my only real option is to try and finance a car but I don’t have any down payment to do so. All the money I did have went towards renting to drive for Lyft, which at the time I thought was a good idea. Now I’m realizing that it wasn’t.
My parents aren’t rich and signed for all my school loans so I can’t really go to them for help. The only people I could ask to help won't because they are very traditional and don’t want me out here in LA because its not practical and neither is my employment situation.
At this point I’m running out of options and I’m tired to be honest. I would wait till next month to rent the car through the Lyft program but my job requires me to have a car and my boss is starting to get anxious. My only option now is to ask YOU, my family and friends for help.
I’m asking help to raise $2500 for a down payment to get a car that will not only help me with my job but to get around in a big city.
This is really hard for me to do... admit that I need help and to put my pride aside and go out of my comfort zone and ask for it. So please, if you can help me it would be very appreciated. And if you can’t personally help I understand, so then I would just ask if you please send the link around and help spread the word to your family and friends.
