Support the Women's Community Clinic!

Dear all,

I'm writing today to humbly ask for your support of the Women's Community Clinic, a sexual and reproductive health clinic that
offers quality, compassionate, affordable care to over 7,000 women and girls in San Francisco and the Bay Area annually.

The Clinic's services include contraception, screenings for breast and cervical cancer, and testing and treatment for STD's. We staff our clinic with women who bring a variety of cultural, economic and sexual perspectives and can deliver culturally competent care.This creates a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where all women feel welcomed and respected. We also deliver outreach services to the most vulnerable women in San Francisco: those who are homeless or marginally housed and cannot come to us.

The Clinic's WAHT program provides community based outreach and workforce development for underserved communities of color, with a specific focus on the Western Addition/Fillmore neighborhood. As part of the WAHT Program, our WAHT Fellows have provided transformational and inclusive direct clinical services and health education for over 2500 uninsured, underserved and poor women in San Francisco. The Fellows have done this while gracefully navigating their personal experiences of homelessness, being primary caregivers for their families, and community violence.

The Clinic is committed to providing inclusive and client centered care and education, while also training the next generation of women's health leaders and advocates in San Francisco.
