As many of you know, Maggie Babb is getting ready to turn the big 4-0 this January. We know what you're thinking... Maggie?? No way! (We can’t believe it either.) And just like the Maggie we know and love, she doesn’t want stuff. She wants an adventure.
Maggie has always measured her life in memories. It’s not material things that make her happy. It’s seeing the world with the people she loves that puts meaning in her life.
This year, she’s been reflecting on those moments and really wanting to do more, as she approaches a milestone birthday. She’s so selfless, giving and thoughtful and we thought it was a good time to give back – by helping her take on a big year with an amazing adventure.
One of her lifelong dreams is to take an African Safari.
She also talked about sharing her day with friends on the water.
And Alaska is one of the top items on her bucket list.
There is so much of the world she wants to explore and we would send her across the globe if we could. So for Maggie's 40th, we want to help (but shh.. as a surprise).
We are hoping that this fundraiser will allow friends near and far, old classmates, camp friends, old work buddies... anyone who has been touched by Maggie's kindness, generosity and sense of adventure :) to help her have the BEST year yet and be able to do some of the dreamiest of dreams in this big year.
This link will be up from now until January, where we look forward to presenting her with a check of all donations and a printed version of this site.
The goal for now is $2,500. Please contribute if you can. Any amount, large or small, would be greatly appreciated. Also, please feel free to leave a note with your donation as well, as this will act as the best birthday card she has ever received :)
