5/17/18 UPDATE: Hello Everyone...currently we have SOLD OUT of all the socks. Any further donations will go directly to the Spring-Ford High School Resiliency Club. There are no more rewards at this point.
44 million Americans (1 in 5 children and adults) have a mental illness in any given year, although very few actually seek treatment. The stigma associated with mental illness is still the biggest barrier that prevents people from getting treatment. Mental health is an illness and those who suffer need support. My mission is to help people understand and manage their mental health so they can live a flourishing life. I hope to encourage others to live a life of service and help others.
People with serious mental health conditions can and do recover. Creating an environment of hope is the first step for a successful recovery. The active involvement of people with mental health conditions and family members at all levels of planning and development is essential for the achievement of system transformation and successful outcomes. Through your compassion and support, we can change the views of mental health and plant the seeds of healthy minds for those in need.
It is okay to talk about mental health. Break the silence and share what's on your mind!
