Cancer treatment emergency fund

Hey folks...
It's hard for me to ask for help; I have always been so fiercely independent. My breast cancer and subsequent surgeries and treatment have found me in some very difficult circumstances, however, and well... here I am, asking for your support.
I have had to spend all my savings on this project, and am now struggling to pay rent and put gas in my car. (I'm pretty much trying to avoid going into debt into my next 3 lifetimes!) I have 5 months of treatment, and 1 surgery left to go. I don't really have the energy to move (or live in my car, for that matter! lol), and dearly want to stay where I am. Unfortunately, Santa Cruz is extremely expensive, and rents are quite high here. Please know that I am living a most frugal lifestyle at this point - all funds will go toward my bills.
Anything will help. I am eternally grateful for your consideration, and hope to live to return the favor! I plan to survive this, and intend to be of great service once I am well again.
