Minority Student Scholarships
Donation protected
Thank you all for your support during my campaign for Miss United Negro College Fund 2016! Because of your support, I was able to raise over $4,000 out of the $8,000 raised by all 6 contestants! Before I graduate, I would like to raise another $3,000 for minority student scholarships so that more students are able to receive the privilege of education and receive the same opportunity that I was afforded.
Please share this campaign with your friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers. Together, we can pay it forward by giving back!

Happy Holidays! My name is Kaylah Joseph and I am a student Oakwood University. In addition to being an Honor Roll student, I am President of the Social Work Club, Treasurer of the Pre-Alumni Council, Health Ambassador for Healthy Campus 20/20, staff writer for The Spreading Oak -- the university newspaper, and the Oakwood University Campus Volunteer Coordinator for the Downtown Rescue Mission.
As you read this, I have just returned from South Korea, Hong Kong, and The Philippines where I spent 3 months serving as an advocate for Asian migrants who are subject to forced migration and victims of human trafficking. The previous summer I engaged in service in the southern region of Africa!
My commitment to service has now led me to be selected to serve as an official contestant for the Miss United Negro College Fund scholarship pageant!
I am asking that you make a financial contribution to my Miss United Negro Fund Campaign. In order to be crowned, I must raise a substantial amount of money for the UNCF.
I am, therefore, asking each person who understands the importance of education to donate any amount. I have less than 7 days to meet my goal!
Remember, the mind is a terrible thing to waste, but a wonderful thing to invest in.
