Pastor Silas Amulundu Relief Fund

Donation protected
My mission is to raise desperately needed funds for Pastor Silas Amulundu, senior Pastor of Church For All Nations in Kenya, Africa, and director of Little Lambs Children's Home.  Pastor Silas cares for some of the (entire generation of) children in Kenya left orphaned by AIDS and other catastrophic events, as well as managing his church, reaching out to the many people ravaged by extreme hunger in his community during the ongoing corona virus pandemic, in addition to being a full time Dad to six children, three of whom were taken in by Silas and his wife, Lina, after being abandoned by their parents.
The children the ministry cares for have not been able to attend school (or daycare, which operates at the school) because of severe flooding in early Spring which damaged their building and the lack of funding to complete all the necessary rebuilding which the government requires in order to resume school activities.  Also, due to both mandated shelter in place orders because of corona virus, as well as not having a suitable structure in place where the children can actually reside full time, the children are  cared for by people in the community.  Currently, Pastor Silas must travel frequently and often times some distance to deliver weekly food packs to them where they are staying.
These children are already significantly traumatized by a deep sense of insecurity and uncertainty, and the gnawing pain that comes from both the hunger and poverty they have experienced in their short lives as well as the loss of their parents and families.  Not being able to attend school and see familiar, loving faces compounds their trauma.  Additionally, education remains as it does anywhere, a way out of what is often generational poverty.  Please help me raise the money for the completion of the school building  so the children will be able to attend school again.
There is also a long standing, and yet now urgent need due to the corona virus, for a dependable motor vehicle, to be used for transportation of both people and supplies for the children and the school as well as food and other outreach to the surrounding community.  For some years Pastor Silas has traveled by foot or bicycle to bring supplies to the children or to accomplish other necessary business, which has impacted his own health negatively although he is a man in his forties.  His bicycle no longer works and although he uses public transportation when he is able, it is expensive and therefore not always available to him.  What if you had to travel between five and twenty miles on foot to bring critically needed supplies to people?  Could you do it?  Would you do it?  But what if peoples lives depended on it?
This  cause is near and dear to me. This is because over time Africa's people captured my heart - their beauty, resilience, and courage in the face of what are often extreme circumstances.  No one can do it all, but we can all do a little, and therefore together we CAN change lives and give people hope, and hope is everything to every one of us! Your caring and your giving will make a difference not just now during the corona virus , but will  carry over into future generations.  People need to know they matter and are not forgotten.  Please help me make the success of this fundraiser possible!
Donations received will be transferred to Pastor Silas at the end of this fundrasier via Upper Room Missions, a 501c3 organization based in the United States.  The purpose of this is to handle your donations with transparency and integrity.  Thank you and I appreciate your assistance tremendously!
