Dandy sinus surgery/mass removal
Donation protected
My Great mare Love N Dandy has a mass on her sinuses. We are praying it's not cancer. I can't take one more loss this past two months. Just lost my dog Roper to cancer then my grandmother 2 weeks ago to cancer then our other dog Rocky came down very ill with IBD.
We have been doing everything we can with our vets here in Las Vegas to treat her and it's at the point that we have to do surgery, a bone flap, so they will be cutting into her skull and removing the mass.
I have to haul her to California to have the procedure done and she will have to stay there for 2 weeks. It's going to cost about $4000. I have already spent $1600 at the vet here in town and they can't help any more.
I feel like I owe this mare everything, she took me through my senior year of high school rodeo, college rodeo, and produced two amazing babies for me. I love this horse with all my heart and I need to do everything I can for her.
The $4000 is only the vets bills. That doesn't not included gas, food, travel expenses to and from California twice. (first time to drop her off, then two weeks later to pick her up)
Dandy and I appreciate any help we can get.
We will be headed to West Coast Equine Hospital in Somis, CA, Dr. Kent Sullivan will be doing her surgery.
