Luke's Eye Surgery Fund
Our little grandson Luke Edwards begins kindergarten this Fall. He has been diagnosed with Accommodative Esotropia(a type of Strabismus), which has caused Amblyopia (lazy eye) as well. Basically this means that he is extremely farsighted, and the muscle that keeps his eyes aligned doesn't work properly. This has caused vision damage, which thankfully can be corrected. He has had previous eye surgery in the past to align his eyes, and has been under professional care for this for years now. He certainly needs to have good vision to be successful in school.
His parents have incurred a lot of debt, due to his condition, which they have been handling but the last time the eye specialist saw Luke, Meghan and Kirk were told Luke needs another surgery. This is like the straw that breaks the camel's back. They have to come up with $5,000, and because of previous medical debt they are in great financial straights.
I am kicking this fundraiser through GoFundMe off with a $500.00 offline dontaion. The goal is $5000.00 Anything you can donate would be ever so appreciated
