Good day and thank you for visiting!! As many of you are aware, my mother has endured a slew of major health challenges in the past few years. Most recently, she was diagnosed with Stage 1A Triple Negative Breast Cancer, and has undergone surgery and one chemotherapy treatment. She was also subsequently admitted to the hospital over the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays for complications from chemo and her liver condition. Both of my parents are over 65, not working, and covered by Medicare. The medical bills (co-pays, meds, tests) have been pretty hefty, in addition to their everyday living expenses. My mother has not asked that I do this. She is so used to taking care of everyone else. However, this has added another level of stress that we can't afford.
