"Lila Grace was born with a broken heart. At ten days old we learned she had Tetralogy of Fallot, Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD) and MAPCAS (Collaterals). This is a severe, and rare, congenital heart defect. Like most families, we never imagined that our life would involve a child that needs special medical attention. A few months ago, we were informed that our daughter's major heart procedure would require us to go out of state.
