Louis "Tiger" Chancey Medical Fund

On February 17th, Louis Chancey or better known by some as Lou or Tiger went to the hospital by ambulance for severe abdominal pain. Since then he has been diagnosed with Necrotizing Pancreatitis, meaning that his pancreas, a vital organ was actually dying. This man has struggled through multiple bacterial infections, a cyst encapsulating the majority of his pancreas, the draining and multiple procedures on that cyst to reduce its size, and now a hole in his small intestines that requires a feeding tube and care over the next several months. Over the course of the last four months, Dads has spent most of his days in a hospital bed either at LRMC or recently Tampa General. We are finally getting some answers and is believed to be on his road to recovery (FINALLY! ). We hope he will finally be coming home to stay in the next few weeks! If you know my dad, you know how anxious he is to get right back to work. Though during this time at home and at the hospital that is the complete opposite of what he needs to do. Four months in a hospital is expensive, not to mention the amount of driving my mom has done to ensure someone is with him at all times, even if that means sleeping at his bedside weeks at a time. Any donation would be greatly appreciated. Dad and mom would never ask for help in this kind of situation, but under these circumstances this would raise a burden off of the both of them, allowing them to focus on dads health and getting him better!!
