Lindsay Raine Memorial Fund

On Nov 9th 2020 our lives were turned upside down. We lost a daughter, sister, mother of 2 and aunt to a tragic freak event. We have more questions than answers. Lindsay Nicole gained her beautiful wings and entered the gates of Heaven. She was such a big hearted person and touched so many souls in her short 29 years of life. She could light up the room with a single smile. Lindsay was a diehard Chiefs fan. Never missed a game! Always had a plate ready for the game for whoever popped up. She loved to bake special cakes for her family and friends special days. No one could mess with her in the kitchen. Lindsay's dream was to one day own a food truck and travel and make special occasion cakes and baked goods for everyone.
She loved her city and everyone she came into contact with. Her 2 kids were her WORLD, a true provider for her family. Nothing could stop Lindsay. She made it happen one way or another. Lindsay leaves behind her beautiful daughter Milli (11) and handsome son Cornelius (6) and her soulmate Juan. All proceeds will help with funeral cost and her two beautiful children get through this tragic time. Anything helps, a share, a prayer, a helping hand. Lindsay deserves to be sent home flawlessly and her kids deserve the world. Let’s make that happen.

The last few years have been trying times for Lindsay due to her physical health. She has been suffering from seizures from unknown causes and had been hospitalized many times. She has always put her children first, many times before her own physical health. She was just starting to make some headway on getting answers as to what was causing them. She wanted to be around for her kid's futures. She wanted to grow old with her soulmate Juan and watch her children graduate, get married, have children of their own and spoil their grandkids. She wanted so badly to have that solid family that was always there for each other. She got it, she has it, she created it and it's here. Our family will never be the same. Our bond will never break and our love for her will never end. She is the rock, the foundation, the person who always changed the mood of the room wherever she goes. Her strength will live on in her children, her soulmate, her family and her friends.

We will be having her funeral services on Monday November 16th. We are limited to only 35 people total for the indoor portion from 1pm to 3pm. At 3pm we will be having graveside services as well as a balloon release for everyone who knew or loved my sweet baby sister.

We thank you in this time of grieving. This is the hardest thing that any of us have ever gone through. I love my sister more than words could ever express. Lindsay's heart and soul were the most beautiful and made my sister the amazing, loyal, dedicated person she is! My heart will never heal from this loss.
