Help Lily go from Silence to Sound

On July 31st 2014, God brought us the most beautiful gift we could have ever recieved. Lily was born at 5:56 pm on that Thursday night. Shortly after she was born, the nurses proceeded to do a newborn hearing screening test. We learned that she failed in both ears. This test was preformed 3 more times over the next 2 weeks. From there we went to another audiologist who then referred us to Vanderbilt. There, we learned that sweet Lily was born profoundly deaf in both ears. Our biggest question was where do we go from here? What happens now? As we recieved an overload of information, we quickly learned that Cochlear Implants were a wonderful option. But soon after, we learned the expense and the time required to make them successful. We dismissed the idea, knowing that neither of us could afford to quit our jobs to be there and also pay for the bills. We have learned of all types of funding, but still can not live on Jeremy's income alone. We want what is best for Lily and want to give her the gift of hearing, but we need your help. It has humbled us greatly to even get to the point where we can ask for your help. We appreciate everything you can help us with and don't worry, we will keep you all updated.
