Odin, my Beast, is only 2 1/2 years old and a best friend to my grandkids and my foster puppies. Earlier today he was having a hard time breathing and we ended up at the emergency vet with a diagnosis of a pneumothorax. After testing it was determined that life saving surgery was needed. The surgery went well they removed a piece of his lung and he is on the mend. He was admitted early Tuesday morning and we still don’t know when he will be released. His bill is about $15,000, but this was the only way to save his life. Every time I get updates from the incredible vet staff, they rave at what a great dog he is, and how easy he makes when ever they have to work on him. My big guy thinks he is ready to come home, but he doesn’t understand how essential it is for his lung to heal before he can come home!
