Life Assembly Youth program is located in Camden City NJ which has been rated the #1 city for crime and has one of the lowest state testing scores in Elementary School in the country. Our Afterschool program assists in homework, encourages positivity and fosters love where it seems all hope is lost. Many of our students have increased their reading and tests scores, blossomed in their personality and made great friends along the way.
Life Assembly is in need of funding to open an additional space within our current facility. Over our 17 years of operation, we have provided a safe learning and fun environment for hundreds of children of working parents and those parents that are continuing their education. Many youth that have come through Life Assembly, that are now adults have their children enrolled in our program. An abundance of parents in the city of Camden are looking for a proven program to both educate and offer a fun experience to children that would otherwise be latch key kids. Our expansion will allow our current enrollment of 100 to triple in size. Please help us in our goal of $5,000 for permits and furnishings to provide community support to working families.
