Help Nan Sichler Moerschbacher defeat cancer

Years ago, Nan could hit a ball out of the ballpark and lift her team to victory.  Life changes as we get older, and now Nan needs our help for a victory over life’s number one adversary, Cancer.

Nan has been diagnosed with B Cell Lymphoma in the lung area. She is currently undergoing treatment at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX.  She has a long road ahead of her, but she is staying positive. Her inability to walk because of weakness on her left side is keeping her wheelchair-bound, but she is determined to persevere. She will be out of work for an indefinite amount of time, and her insurance will only cover a fraction of the medical bills.  Nan is currently being treated as an outpatient and is staying in a Houston hotel.  She will re-enter as an inpatient for the next round of chemo and will then be discharged again until the next round. Obviously, the hotel costs are going to be immense. In addition, she will need to make many flights between State College and Houston for treatment and follow up visits.  It is a humbling experience for Nan and Frankie, but their friends and family are hoping to play a major part in her road to recovery.  Nan knows the importance of a strong team in any success story.
