NYC Mission Trip

Ever since I was a little girl I have had the desire to do mission work. Whenever missionaries would come to my church I would feel so inspired. Then I would pray that if it was His will, send me! Recently God opened a door for me to go on a mission trip to New York City alongside my daughter Kayelea. Apparently, God was tugging on her heartstrings as well! In a few short months we will be ministering to children and adults in the projects of NYC!
Did you know that 1/10 of the U.S. Population lives within a 25 mile radius of the Statue of Liberty? Did you know this city has over 180 different people groups? New York City is truly the melting pot of the world! Being in the city will be fun I’m sure, but our main focus will be reaching people for Christ.
Our group will be made up of four teams: illusion, equipment, drama, and puppets. These teams will attract children and parents to come and see our presentation of the gospel. After each program an invitation will be given and our teams will talk and pray with those who respond.
This trip will be a life changing experience for us. We cannot wait to see what God is going to do. We are going with ONE message – Jesus died for you!
Our two greatest needs are prayer and financial support. I realize that not everyone is able to help financially, but everyone can pray for us. Please pray that:
1. Many people will hear the Gospel of Jesus.
2. Our team will be burdened for the lost.
3. There will be unity among our team.
4. Each of us will be able to raise the needed support.
5. The weather will permit us to do our program.
There is no way we could afford to go on this trip without the help of friends and family. The cost of the entire trip is $1000 per person. This covers supplies, travel, food, hotel, Bibles, tracts, ect. Again, we realize not everyone is in a position to help, but if you would consider a donation of any amount we will be one step closer to that life changing experience.
