Landon's Mission Trip to New Zealand

"You will spend three months in the classroom of which worship and intercession is an integral part. The following two months will be spent on outreach, usually in a developing country."
The Lord has put it on my heart to go to Tauranga, New Zealand and get trained with Youth With a Mission - YWAM.
My training will be about surrendering everything to God and going where he wants to send us, just as the prophet Isaiah does when he says to God, "˜Here I am, send me' (check out Isaiah 6:1-9). Together we will challenge and encourage each other to dream bigger with God and to walk in confidence in the gifts and calling God has given us. This is what the school is all about.
Topics that may be covered are surrender, intimacy, spiritual gifts and strengths, calling, approaches to evangelism, amongst others. The school has a strong focus on not just staying in the classroom but also reaching out in the community and putting into practice what we are learning in the classroom. We will have one specific 'Outreach' stream a week and other weekly "˜Outreach' activitiy.
In a nutshell, the school is all about looking at the call that God has put on our lives to "˜go' and responding to this call together; to take the time to ask God where He is calling us to go during the five months of Discipleship Training and the rest of our lives.
I want to go deeper, go further and go out. Will you prayerfully partner with me to 'Go' out and recive training that I may go wherever God would have me to go and do?
I need to raise up $11,000 which will cover my airfare to New Zealand, my food and my room and board for 5 months.
It will also cover travel expenses for two months of traveling to minister in other nations for two months after my three month training internship.
Anything you can do $5, $10, $25 or more would really go a long way to helping me raise up the needed funds. And of course I could use your prayers.
I will definitely update you on my trip while I am overseas as I can, and I will also be happy to pray for any of your needs you may have. When I get back from my trip, I will send you a newsletter report showing what took place and how you were a big part of touching and changing lives while I was overseas.
