Lafond School, Haiti

The students of Lafond, Haiti need your help.

The Lafond School was destroyed by the earthquake which struck Haiti in 2010.

Last year, the students of Lafond attended school in tents. Through the work of NGO's like WorldConnect, they now have new school buildings, repaired homes, and even, as we learned through our recent visit, school furniture. However, there are still necessities and these include the purchase of textbooks. Lafond, a school of 300, can provide all students with books for the next two years for only $2000. As we've already raised this amount, we've decided to donate the money for these textbooks, and continue raising funds to make sure the children of Lafond can attend their new school.

The cost of sending a student to school for a year is $99.00 US. Parents are asked to pay for $12.00 of this. That means for $87.00, you can help send a student to Lafond School for a year. Because World Leadership Foundation is a 501(c)(3), your donation is tax-deductible. On behalf of the students of Lafond School, we thank you for your generosity.  Every dollar matters!
