Help LaMondre Tell The Story

My name is LaMondre Pough and I’m a speaker and the host of the new podcast Walking On Purpose. I have Spinal Muscular Atrophy. Spinal Muscular Atrophy is a progressive neurological disorder that affects all of my voluntary muscles. The result is, I can’t walk. I can't bathe myself. I can’t feed myself. But now there’s this incredible treatment for it. And people are getting amazing results. And I want to tell that story. And that’s where I need your help.
I want to create a documentary chronicling my treatment journey from beginning to end. I want to speak with the clinicians and the company that developed the treatment. I also want to speak with families who have gotten the treatment and I also want to speak with families who want the treatment but can’t afford it because it’s extremely expensive and many insurances simply won’t cover it.
I will use the funds to cover all costs associated with the creation and distribution of the documentary. Everything from hiring production professionals all the way to transportation and lodging.
I want to give this story a voice. People need to know that this miracle treatment is available and they need to know how to go about getting it. Help me breathe life into the story by donating to this go fund me campaign.
