I have had a dream of going to Africa since I was 20 years old. I just found out I was accepted to the The Harvest School. This is a three-month missions training school
based in Pemba, on
the north coast of Mozambique. Many have heard of Heidi and Rolland Baker of Iris Ministries. Check them out Irisglobal.org if you haven't heard of them.
I have been dreaming of going to Mozambique particular for many years. The Lord has had me wait for His reasons. So I was very surprised when He ambushed me this summer and said it was time to go. I was filled with so much Joy of the opportunity. I have been working with traumatized children for the last few years and kept asking the Lord for the next steps. He replied come on a journey with me to the nations. This is not a trip of luxury, but of going to learn from those that don't have much in outward things, but they have hunger. They are poor in Spirit and I want to be poor in Spirit, because it is there I will see God. I have a meeting with God in Africa.
My hope for this time is to be commissioned into more of the Destiny that God has for me. My heart is for the Orphans of the earth to know our Heavenly father's Love.
I feel that the Lord is giving me an invitation to go with Him in the the nations. I will go to Pemba to be trained on the ground and be launched into another part of the world to carry Gods heart. I feel the Lord told me to apply for the Israel outreach so if that is true I will need some big miracles to get there. Israel has been on my heart for a few years as He has given me insight into His heart for His people!
