LLR Young Life Golf Marathon

On Monday, May 12th, golfers from all around the area, including my husband and brother-in-law, will chop, hack, chase and smack a golf ball from dawn to dusk to support Young Life's work with kids in Lincoln, Loomis, and Rocklin. For the past year, I have been a volunteer Young Life leader at Del Oro High School. Since my golf skills are not up to par, Brandon and Corey have graciously decided to risk total exhaustion, public humiliation and who knows what else, to do this crazy thing, play 100 holes of golf in one day!
Young Life provides a "best week of your life" summer camp experience that introduces a young person to the Christian faith. This summer kids will attend Woodleaf for a life-changing week. All proceeds from this marathon will go to reducing the cost of camp for kids and to provide an ongoing ministry when the return. Please considering donating to this amazing ministry!

What is Young Life?
Since this international ministry began in 1940, Young Life leaders have cared enough about kids to leave the comfort of their adult world and enter the adolescent world. You will find Young Life leaders in the stands at football games, playing Frisbee with kids in the park, driving carloads of kids around town or tutoring students after school. In fact, you will find them almost anywhere you can find kids.
Young Life provides strong, positive influences in the lives of young people across the United States and other countries around the world. Young Life is a place where high school and junior high kids can be themselves, learn about God and live life to the fullest. Young Life leaders come alongside kids and share with them the message of Jesus Christ's love for them.
