Kyra's Call to Circuit Riders

Hello friends and family! Welcome to my story…
When I was a senior in high school, I was accepted to do a Discipleship Training School (DTS) with Youth With A Mission in Kona, Hawaii. The first 3 months of the school I spent in class Monday through Friday being taught from different spiritual leaders. We broke off strongholds and entitlements. FREEDOM! Stepped deeper into the heart of the Father. INTIMACY! Learned how to live in obedience to Jesus and experience freedom in that, practiced embodying an unoffendable heart, responding to conviction, and built up our community so that we could truly walk in relationship with Jesus and in turn be sent out into the nations! I was undone day after day by the community of young people who long to see revival. Radical lovers of Jesus and people. Servants with their heads down and hands at work. Wild obedience. Insane amounts of passion and energy. These people carried Jesus and you could see it in their eyes. I was being constantly encouraged, championed, and called higher. I am joyfully humbled when I am reminded that THIS is my calling, this is what I’m passionate about; revival through Jesus’ love. Jesus is opening doors for me to step into this calling and has imparted so many dreams and visions into me. In the following 3 months after lecture phase, my team and I went to India! I was wrecked by the Lord’s heart for this nation. I was seeing refugees being freed from rejection and shame and walking into the Lords arms further and further. I was seeing healing and hope outburst all across our ministries. I saw love spread like wildfire in spiritually dark areas. Everyday I saw Jesus move before my eyes and I was beautifully unraveled by His power time and time again. My time in India changed my whole perspective on who Jesus really is. He is moving NOW. He is moving in POWER. He loves all of his children SO WELL. He wants to use people like you and me to reveal His glory unto the ends of the earth!
Returning home from DTS this Summer, I had a lot different expectations for myself. I had a vision for my time at home and was going to stick to that. I told myself I wouldn’t fall back into old and unhealthy habits, because I had tasted and seen who Jesus was. However, I quickly realized that when we don’t press in for daily intimacy and don’t fully step into Godly wisdom, sure enough, we find ourselves not where we intended to be. Begin to look to people for our value. Limiting God’s mobility in our lives by putting Him in a box. Not allowing the Lord to fill us and beginning to feel empty. I hadn’t really put in effort to fundraise once returning home, because I had closed off my mind to the possibility of leaving anytime before next year. I hadn’t been fully surrendered and seeking what God might want me to do next and WHEN. Once the Lord convicted me of this, I chose to not lose sight of the vision and passion that Jesus has put inside of me for His children. It was time to step out of the boat. GRACE UPON GRACE. I am so grateful for how God pursues and uses me even when I fall short of my promises to Him. He is SO gracious and SO faithful! He knows my heart is to love and serve Him and He keeps pursuing. I spent time responding to the conviction I was experiencing, repented, and worshipped flat on my face to a King who never gives up on me! I felt instantly refreshed. I knew this was going to be a season where the Lord was going to pour out on me more than ever before and He would deepen my roots in Him more and more. So, when I began to let God cast a vision with me again, He began stirring my heart for an opportunity to be equipped and serve my nation and my generation beginning this year! At first, I was daunted by the idea of leaving home only a few months after returning and having to fundraise on my own, but I quickly realized that I was much more convicted on giving up than I was by giving it all I’ve got and trusting God and His faithfulness.
…WHERE TO? Well, I moved to Huntington Beach to join the Circuit Riders! Why and what’s it all about??? Circuit Riders is a catalytic training movement that pours “…into young people and creates catalytic leaders. With training at our core, everyone is seen as a messenger and discipler, creating wildfire multiplication and activation. We are not after building a pretty institution, we are after awakening a generation to who Jesus really is. We tour nationally because the Lord has called us to create “circuits.” To be mobile evangelists, who like Paul Revere are carrying a message of awakening. As we form teams and see awakening on Universities in America, it doesn’t end there. Jesus gave the Church ‘The Great Commission’ to preach the gospel in all the world. Everything we do as a Circuit Rider is designed to catalyze another wave of missions from America to the nations.” INCREDIBLE. I’ll be moving on October 1, 2017 and training everyday with a wild group of people, being put in teams, holding Carry The Love events, and planning loads of projects for college campuses to see Jesus MOVE. I’ll be learning new skills as a messenger of God’s word and glorifying God with all of it. In January I’ll be on a team and tour different states, visiting college and high school campuses, seeing people throw up their hands in surrender to Jesus. I AM SO EXCITED. Why America? I love to go to new countries and experience God’s heart for other nations and I would even love to go back to Asia someday. However, I know that during this season I am called to stay, and I know that there is a serious need in America right now. A NEED FOR LOVE. A NEED FOR TRUTH. A NEED FOR REVIVAL. A need for intimacy and relationship with the Creator. I want to see my generation rise up and live into who the Lord has called us to be. I want to see love flourish. I want to see Jesus’ name be proclaimed in EVERY nation.
As I’m fundraising, the Lord has spoken clearly to me to be fully reliant on Him and His ways in this process. I am to simply listen and obey as more and more of His plan is revealed to me. God has laid it on my heart to write this to all of you and send it to specific people who also live with a passion to see Jesus’ name glorified through all the earth! Join me as you are prompted by supporting this next season of what God’s doing through prayer and financial support. I greatly appreciate all of it! I’m so ready and excited to embark on a new journey with the Lord and to see Him move in mighty ways!
