My brother, Kyle Terry, passed away on February 22, 2015. Words cannot express how devastated and heartbroken I feel. It feels like just yesterday when we were sitting next to each other on the scorching lawn of UC Riverside and graduated/walked the stage together, ready to take on the world. It pains and hurts me that now he's suddenly gone. He had such a BRIGHT future ahead of him and life took him too soon. He's always looked out for me like a younger brother and I know that he'll just be looking out from ABOVE now.

I'll always treasure and cherish all the GREAT times and GNAR experiences we've had. Like the Thanksgiving where we made deep fried bacon wrapped turkey, all the countless times we've snowboarded and shredded the slopes where he'd throw down 360's without FEAR or grind on the boxes like it was no big deal, the all-nighters where we used to talk about life and girls, all of the sage advice he'd give me on whatever was on my mind, the million dollar grin he always had from cheek to cheek, our first dodger game we went to, his SWOLENESS, and many more.

For those of you that knew him, you know that he will NEVER be forgotten. He has TOUCHED and IMPACTED all of our lives in different ways and explicitly made the effort to talk to and hang out with each and everyone of us regardless of age, sex, or ethnicity. He was never too busy if we were in need and would always be there without a moment's hesitation.

As I am typing this, I still can't believe that he passed away and am sure a lot of you can relate. It is all too surreal and there has been a frenzy of emotions this past week. It's been a rough time for us all.

I know he is proud to see all of us uniting together and bonding on his behalf. He was always about having a GOOD time and bringing POSITIVE vibes wherever he went.

For those of you that might not know, Kyle was the drum major in his marching band at Arcadia High School. I ran the idea by his family that all of us want to help in anyway we can and set up a gofundme to help with the funeral expenses. Kyle's family loved this idea and suggested that they want to make the proceeds as a donation to his high school.

So, in loving memory of Kyle Terry, let's keep our head up high, cherish all of the experiences we've had with Kyle, and honor him by contributing to his family whom willl donate it to his high school music program on Kyle's behalf. Any and all contributions, big or small, are welcome and greatly appreciated.
