Seizure alert dog 4 Kindallyn

Kindallyn Rose Johnson is our beautiful spunky indapendant 9 year old! Aug 6th ,2014 was a day that would forever change our lives. Kindallyn had not been feeling well and went to take a bath. By the grace of God my husband had a feeling to check on her. When he called out she didn't respond so he sent our oldest daughter to check on her. She found her under the water. Dave came in and pulled her out. She was completely unresponsive, he started CPR and was able to revive her. All she remembers is the ambulance ride to the hospital. Kindallyn spent a few days in the children's hospital where they did a series of tests. Her EEG was abnormal and she was diagnosed with epilepsy. We have several more tests that need to be done and are starting medicines. 

After this incident our very independent  daughter will not sleep alone, she is afraid to go swimming and can not be down stairs by herself. We really feel that a seizure dog would help her in many ways.

- pulls child away from object dangerous as a seizure approaches 
- can go with her to medical appointments that are difficult 
- support for the emotional aspects.
- stay in the bathroom while she showers 

The waiting list for the "free" service dogs are 3-5 years. We have found a reputable orginization that provides seizure dogs ,but they ask you to help fundraise for the dog. Would you please consider helping Kindallyn regain her independence and comfort through a service dog?
