The backstory
In April 2017, Kim set out to begin a new start by leaving Orange County, Ca and moving back to more affordable Colorado where she lived many years ago. A loving Mother to sons' Zachary and Jacob, she and Jacob packed up what they could fit in their small Uhaul and headed East. Kim planned to gain employment and build a new life.
Diagnosed with Lupus a few years ago, Kim struggled to care for herself and support her family during her illness. Unable to maintain employment or gain proper insurance coverage, her son's and family contributed in an effort to support her.
Sadly, our amazing Kim had advanced breast cancer that went undetected and she passed away, unexpectedly, on September 4th.
She was surrounded by the love of family and friends.
How you can help
In an effort to help offset memorial costs and help Jacob relocate and start again, we look within as a strong family and to a loving community to help provide a little bit of support for her son's, Zachary and Jacob.
