KERALA FLOOD VICTIMS REHABILITATION

Kerala, the Southern-most State of India, is devastated by floods and rain for the last many days which is unprecedented in the known history of the State. Eighty dams were opened, nearly 400 people have lost their life, around 250,000 people are brought to more than 1500 relief camps. The damage is to the tune of 2 billion dollars and nearly one million houses have been totally wrecked or partially damaged and they all need to be rebuilt or repaired and a hygienic environment is restored. Thousands of people need medical support and preventive care to escape from the possible diseases in the aftermath of the flood and incessant rain.
The situation is very grim and unprecedented, and the victims of this disaster need your immediate support. Our heart flows for the Kerala Flood Victims and we feel it is our moral duty and responsibility to go all out to support the victims of this great human tragedy. We are requesting all our friends and well-wishers to support this noble cause of sending funds for helping the victims of this disaster.
Santhigram Foundation, which is spearheading the donation drive to help the Kerala Flood Victims, is a charitable Non-Profit Organization and is approved for Tax Exemption under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 501 (c)(3). Donors can deduct contributions they make to Santhigram Foundation under IRC Section 170. Your donation will contribute to the rescue efforts which is the immediate need of the hour and you will be also eligible for Tax Deduction benefits as applicable to donations to Charitable Organizations. The money collected will be sent for the Rehabilitation of the flood affected people of Kerala through appropriate legal channel.
