Kenya/Uganda Mission Trip 2015

In the summer of 2014, Adam and I participated in a mission trip to Kenya.  Adam participated in a construction project to improve the conditions at a school/orphanage.  I was able to provide basic medical screenings and treatments for the orphans. We also had the opportunity to work with the locals of Makuyu Village by assisting them on finding ways to improve their everday lives.  We instantly fell in love with the children at the orphanges and all of the people  we came in contact with, and knew that we would return to Kenya to continue God's work that is being done there.

This year we have the amazing opportunity to not only return to the Makuyu Village and  Murang'a, Kenya, but expand our mission to Uganda where we will  volunteer at a home for abandoned babies and partner with the locals to find ways in which to improve their community. The trip is part of the many wonderful things our church, Real Life of Austin, is doing for our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world. We will also be working with three local missionaries living in Kenya and the organization that they are a part of, Open Door Missions.

With your help, we can provide the basic comfort and needs for a group of wonderful children in need and do our part to improve daily living for the men and women of Kenya and Uganda. Thank you so much for your help!
