Kathryn Jackson,
From Harlingen Texas, Irvine California, Mother, Sister and most beloved Hairstylist has been diagnosed with end cirrhosis and is in need of our support.
Kathryn, was diagnosed several years earlier with autoimmune hepatitis, primary biliary cirrhosis. She was told she could live a normal life.
Christmas eve 2016 she drove herself to the ER with severe swollen ankles, legs and other areas of her body in pain.
It was there that she was referred to the Texas liver institute in San Antonio to undergo more testing. Her doctor there advised her after tests and review she would require a full liver transplant and was diagnosed with end-stage cirrhosis.
Kathryn (Kat), the hardest working hairdresser We all know is unable to work.
She has no disability insurance and has no other source of income to live on. She will be living at her sisters in San Antonio. She is undergoing a battery of test at present to become a liver recipient.
Kathryn is loved by so many people.
Our prayer for her is that she gets a liver transplant and her body accepts it.
Another prayer is we all rally around her with financial support & pray for her healing.
She will need living expenses covered until she is strong enough to work again.
This woman has given so much to so many.
Those who have had the honor of having her do their hair or has sat in her chair can vouch for this.
She is one of the most Godly, wise beyond her years, loving, helpful, mentoring, best friend, we have ever known.
