Sliding into 2022 Winter Olympics

Donation protected
It's actually an interesting story about how I arrived at the Olympic Training Center (OTC) in Lake Placid, New York for USA Bobsled and Skeleton (USABS). My background is in track, which I have competed in for the past 7 years. My collegiate track career at Birmingham-Southern College ended with my becoming a 4 time All-American in the 60,100 and 200 meters indoor and outdoor. After missing my college graduation to attend the NCAA D3 Nationals, I was unsure if I wanted to continue my track career.  But there was always the lingering question of my competing in the Olympics. My dreams were answered when I was invited to attend the USABS 2018 Rookie Push Camp.  After attending the 10-day long camp, I was named the 2018 Rookie Push Champion for Women's Skeleton. Winning the push championship helped me realize that with hard work and dedication, I could compete in the 2022 Winter Olympics. During USABS training, housing and food are covered by the organization, however, travel expenses are not. This fundraiser will help offset the cost of my travels.
