Loving Mother's Unexpected Passing

On Thursday, January 18th, 2018, we suddenly lost our loving Mother. She was the most beautiful, kind-hearted, and generous person we knew. She was an avid conversationalist, a wonderful listener, and she always knew how to find the silver-lining throughout life.
Our mom had a heart of gold. She was always willing to help anybody who would ask and she was a loyal friend to everybody she knew.
She instilled the importance of empathy, compassion, and unconditional love within her family and she often shared pieces of her wisdom. One being: "When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace."
She was a priceless twin sister, a mother to three daughters, and a devoted grandmother to five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She loved all of her fur-babies near and far, especially her beloved dog, Sheffie.
As her death was an unexpected shock to our family, we were not prepared to pay for a funeral. The funds collected would go towards the expenses of her funeral, held on Friday, January 26th, 2018. Any money beyond our goal will be given to a local animal shelter in memory of her and her dog, Sheffie.
