Kanga Cup 2014 - Hurlstone Park 15/1s

We are going to Canberra in July to compete in the Kanga Cup. The Kanga Cup is the largest International Youth Football Tournament in the Southern Hemisphere.
In 2013, the 23rd Annual Kanga Cup took place with 246 teams from Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Philippines, and Beijing taking part. Over 3800 players took part in more than 650 games in 5 massive days!
The boys (and their parents) are very excited about participating. Entry to the competition is $1500. Hurlstone Park Wanderers have already pledged $500 towards this, but we need to raise the remainder. Already other fundraising activities have commenced; but we have established this appeal so that friends and relatives who are not able to purchase tickets in our hamper draw, buy cakes at the stall or enjoy the Ewen Park BBQ can help us.

Funds raised over and above the entry fee and any funds above the target will be used to cover the costs of transport, accomodation, meals, entertainment [and a gift to our coach]. You can donate through this site. Or you can donate privately directly to your team member and we will record it as a private donation - it will show us getting closer to our total.
The boys will be posting on social media during the tournament so you will be able to follow their progress. Families will be sharing this campaign with friends and family, through facebook, emails etc - please feel free to circulate it to anyone that you think might wish to support us.
