Kamee's Journey

My daughter, Kamee,  is the most amazing young woman I know. She is kind, compassionate and has a heart overflowing with love. I am so glad God gave her to me as she is a joy to my soul. That is her in the picture holding her son, Dylan, during his physical therapy session. He was diagnosed with cerebral palsy when he was about four months old so Kamee is unable to work because she provides care for Dylan.
Last week, Kamee was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor, located on her hypothallamus. According to her endocrinologist this type of tumor is extremely rare in adults and is typically found in pediatric patients. Kamee has been referred to Oregon Health Sciences University (OHSU) to neurosurgery Aug 17, 2018.  It is approximately five and a half hours to travel from where we live and OHSU does not currently have lodging facilities for family members. There are motels around the area that provide discounts. However, we do not know how long we will need to be there and though there might be a discounted rate for the motel, it will be a great expense.
I have created this page on her behalf for the practical/financial needs but we also welcome your prayers as they are powerful.
