Hello,
My name is Kaiya and I currently attend an international early college high school. I have been studying Mandarin Chinese for the past three years. I have consistently ranked at the top of my class that also includes college students. I have an awesome opportunity to experience the language first hand by taking a trip this summer to China. I am so excited! The trip will include cities like Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Beijing. I will get to see the Great Wall of China, the Terracotta Warriors, the Forbidden City, and so much more! I will be able to experience the Chinese culture and language by visiting schools, and having a traditional meal with local Chinese families.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime trip that I don't want to miss out on! That is why I am asking for your help. I am asking you to donate what you can to help get me to China! I have done some fundraising on my own as well as contributions from some friends and family. I'm halfway towards the total cost of the trip. I would like to include you on my journey. I plan on using my language to pursue a career in China as an English language instructor. I thank you all so much for helping me achieve this dream trip.
