Kaiyas Quest for Gold 2018

Congrats to Kaiya for being offered a spot on Aboriginal Team Ontario 2018 who will travel out to Membertou Nova Scotia between May 6th-13th. We are awaiting the announcement of who the coach will be but have been told that it’s someone who is an NHL ALUMNI!! We’re thinkin Ted Nolan or recently retired Jonathan Cheechoo ()! Last year when we did this GFM account we were in an unexpected position when she was selected & was a huge cost that was unforeseen but this year we had planned her to be selected & made some arrangements to keep some money set aside for this reason. The fact of the matter is though we still need to fundraise some expenses and costs that we didn’t fully include in our GFM page last year. So any little bit helps if you are able to support! We have a good feeling that this years team will be very successful! Miigwetch to our family & friends who supported in the past, who is supporting in the present and who will continue to support in the future! Kaiya continues to work hard on & off the ice to be the most successful person she can be. A side note worth mentioning: Kaiya has been ‘approached’ unofficially by 3 universities from her prospect tournaments she competed in this hockey season, so your support will be worth the investment! Lol!! And I just like saying that...lol
