Speech Therapy Pre-school for Kaimana

Kaimana is 3 years old, and due to years of ear infections his speech is behind. We need help paying for a pre-school that can help him catch up:

For the first 2 1/2 Years of his life, Kaimana had almost constant ear infections. Apparently he inherited my "odd shaped" Eustachian tubes. We also have bad acid reflux in our family and we've been told that added to the problem. As a result of the infections his hearing was impaired and he had a very difficult time learning words and sounds. His speech sounds like babbling with real words mixed in, but we can tell he's smart and just needs help to catch up with other kids his age. We're desperate to correct his speech now, before he enters kindergarten in two years, so he can start his education on the right track. We believe that catching up now is critical to his future development.

Our Health Care Provider finally agreed to put in ear tubes about 6 months ago, and his hearing is now normal! However his speech has not recovered so quickly. His past hearing loss has caused a frustrating delay in his ability to speak clearly and learn. It's also cause behavioral problems because he can't communicate what he wants. We've tried to get speech therapy through the Department of Education etc. All we were able to get was a three month program through Easter Seals. It was a great program, but it ended when he turned 3 years old. 

So what's the answer? 2 years ago Beth found a specially accredited Pre-school that we hoped would be good for him and put him on the waiting list. Kaimana was finally accepted, and we went ahead and started him there in July. The problem is that it costs $750 per month and we can't afford it. We started him knowing that we'd have to pull him out in a few months. However he absolutely loves it, and he is progressing well. He's so happy there, that we hate the thought of pulling him out, but we just can't cover the cost in our budget.

My friend suggested "gofundme.com" as a way to get some help paying for Kaimana's pre-school. Even 1 or 2 months would be a huge benefit. Whatever we can do to help Kaimana catch up with kids his age could make a major difference in his education for years to come.
