Kai's Cotillion Fundraiser
Donation protected
Hello, My name is Kai Adura Waller and I am honored to have been selected as a Debutante in the 2014 - 2015 Tea Rose Cotillion sponsored by the Xi Zeta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc and The Ivy Foundation of Washington, DC.
I am a senior honor student in the Quest program at Eleanor Roosevelt High School (ERHS) in Greenbelt, MD and a member of the National Honor Society. My extracurricular activities include being Captain of the “Prince George’s County Championship” ERHS Swim Team, Treasurer of the ERHS Black Student Union, and Secretary of National Society of Black Engineers - Junior (ERHS chapter). When not busy with competitive swimming, something I’ve participated in since I was 9 years old, I volunteer my time with local senior citizen programs, homeless programs, and youth enrichment programs.
As the cost of college increases I am concerned about being able to afford my dream of attending college. After college I plan on attending medical school to become a Dermatologist or dental school to become an Orthodontist. As a Debutante I am committed to raising funds that will directly benefit me through scholarships issued by The Ivy Foundation of Washington, DC. I would appreciate your financial support as I actively strive to achieve the goal of raising at least $10,000. The deadline for all donations is Friday, February 27, 2015. Any amount donated is tax-deductible and greatly appreciated!
