KIPP goes to MiSci

Our first-grade students here at KIPP: Tech Valley Primary Charter School have been studying sea creatures and other exotic animals for the last month. Our students work so hard in the classroom and would like the opportunity to study these animals outside of the classroom. We do not ask anything financially of our students. Our expectation is that they show up and work hard at school every day, which they do! They love to come to school and show off how hard they work in the classroom to get to and through college. We are asking for your support that will allow our students to travel to the local Aquarium to see and experience the sea creatures first hand. This is an opportunity
for them to interact with the community and experience, enrich and explore our unit of study! Research shows that students who have the opportunity
to experience hands on learning outside of the classroom are able to connect and better understand the content they are studying.
