Cancer Treatment for Lolade Babalola
I have known Lolade as a friend since 2003. She is like my sister. She dedicated her life to serving God and helping others selflessly and I am devastated to see her deteriorate in this condition which cancer has left her.
Lolade was a brilliant fashion designer but since c. 2013 she has been suffering from brain tumor which doctors have battled but her lack of consistent financial support has caused the ugly tumour to claim her eyes.
In December 2019, she got generous funding support to travel to India for treatment but on opening up the tumor, the doctors discovered that her previous scans had become outdated and the tumor is now cancerous. They require new treatment plan and asked her to return to Nigeria to source more money.
Lolade now requires approximately 10 Million Naira (£23,000) for her to fight the cancer.
As of this morning 06/05/2020, She is in constant pain and unfortunately cannot even afford to buy medications to keep her comfortable. The wound from the last operation in December is now pulsating because of lack of proper dietary requirements to accelerate healing. The doctors have asked for 150 thousand Naira (£450) to drain the pulse and prescribe medication to dry up the wound.
I am asking everyone to please unlock theirbowels of mercy and compassion and assist with whatever donation they can spare. I am convinced that tiny donations from a multitude will help Lolade to survive this cancer. The fact that she is still alive despite all the devastating effect of this disease is a testament of her ability to fight and live.
