Teaching & Traveling Thailand

As some of you may know I have plans to ship on over to Asia to travel and teach at the end of February. Currently I have plans to volunteer teaching (English and art) in Nepal with a few treks around the country as well. From my adventures in Nepal I hope, with your help, to then go down to Thailand to teach English. For a country that benefits from tourism English can be a great asset to any Thai person, it also helps to build their globalized economy.
I was once told that life happens when you step outside of your comfort zone, which is why I yet again decide to pack my things and head to a new place with new people and a very different culture than I am used to. Not only do I hope to gain personal growth and an eye opening experience to this amazing world we live in but I hope to use the skills that I have gained throughout all of my education and bring it over to Thailand to help them the best I can.
[For those of you who may not know me: I am a 23 year old college graduate from the University of Vermont. My degree is in Elementary Education with a concentration in Psychology and a minor in Special Education. I am from South of Boston and although I love my home I also love to travel, learn new things, and help others in any way I can.]
Here's the deal:
I am looking for any help with funding my trip to Thailand. Although I have saved my money for a while now I am afraid that after traveling and teaching in Nepal I may not be left with the funds I need to keep my dream going. I will be working through a program called Geovisions and will be teaching from June-September. Through geovisions I will be given a week orientation in the beautiful Chang Mai and from there they will set up a job for me. After my job is set up, living and everything else is on my own, which is where any and all donations would mean the world to me.
