K-Rocket's Racing Fund

My name is Karen Brocket (they call me K-Rocket) and I'm a 17 year old cyclist. I've only been racing for a couple of years, mainly on the MTB and Cyclocross side, and this will be a major year for me as I race a full season on the Road! There will be a lot of travel to many big races with my new team, JETCycling, and I need your help to get to them all.

Over the past few years I have racked up a good number of State & Midwest Regional Championships and several national podiums in all discipline of the sport. I have traveled to a lot of bigger races, mainly on the dirt side with the support of my family, team and generous donors. This year I will be racing mostly on the road all over North America and I need support to get to these races. My team, JETCycling, will be traveling to world and national level races this year such as Sea Otter Classic, Valley of the Sun, Tour de Rimouski, road and track nationals. I can't leave my dirt roots completely and will be racing mountain bike nationals in addition to a full season of Cyclocross with the Elite Women!

I am currently a Junior in high school taking college level courses (International Baccalaureate) and have maintained a 3.8GPA. The school study work load is very demanding making it challenging enough to do what I love which is ride and race my bike, getting a JOB on top of that is nearly impossible! That is why I really need your support so I can keep up my GPA and race my bike at a high level. All of the money donated will go to travel and race entry fees.

These races will give me experience and exposure that brings me closer to becoming a highly successful student athlete in college, cracking into the pro ranks and maybe one day reaching my dream of competing in the Olympics! Thank you for your help and support!
