This is a video of when an 84-year-old man was pushed in a horrific daytime attack in San Francisco.

(WARNING: This video may be disturbing to some.) An 84-year-old man dies after a horrific daytime attack in San Francisco's Anza Vista neighborhood. Police say their suspect Antoine Watson, 19, attacked the senior along Anza Vista and Fortuna avenues Thursday morning.

Monthanus Ratanapakdee &Pasama Ratanapakdee are organizing this fundraiser.

Monthanus Ratanapakdee and Pasama Ratanapakdee are the only two daughters of Mr. Vicha Ratanapakdee, who got murdered by allegedly Mr. Antoine Watson at the end of January 2021, as you can see on the senseless video clip from all of the media.

Your Help
By donating to this fund, you will help us pursue justice and the civil legal fight ahead of us. The road to justice is very long, as we all know. However, the Ratanapakdees’ family wants our father's case to bring awareness to stop hate crimes and ensure that what happened to our father will not happen to your family members.

Our father's death made the AAPI community painfully aware of the long-existing problems of violence against Asian Americans. But unfortunately, the tragic death of our father was followed by a string of violent and unprovoked attacks that targeted Asian Americans in communities throughout our nation, and we MUST STOP this.
We will put the mural on the wall in San Francisco China Town (permit approved) and also petition to change the street name in our neighborhood that our father used to walk to his name to be symbolic as the historical marker that reminds future generations to “Stand for Asians, Stop Asian Hate, Asians Hate Crime” (It is the staircase to connect two streets without any resident address.)

About Vicha Ratanapakdee
Our father, Mr. Vicha Ratanapakdee, was a dream father, a role model, a beloved husband, a good father, the best grandfather and a best friend to many others. He died at San Francisco General Hospital from injuries sustained two days after the allegedly Mr. Watson shoved him to the ground while on his routine morning walk in the San Francisco Anza Vista neighborhood. He just survived his heart surgery nine months ago, and the doctor told him to walk daily for exercise. Since then, he has gone out to walk every day. But on the morning of January 28, 2021, he never returns to our family again. He’s unable to see his beloved grandson, daughters and wife. Our family is distraught as we struggle to understand why our loved one was taken away senselessly. Our family never expected to become victims of such an assault in daylight in our neighborhood. It is NOT ok to be attacked without any reason. It is NOT ok to feel unsafe in your neighborhood. It is NOT ok to be unable to seek proper enforcement of the law for individuals harming anyone, especially seniors.

The Allegedly Murder
The police officers allegedly arrested Mr. Antoine Watson, a despicable man who came to our neighborhood via his car disabled by an earlier hit and run and then decided to prove how tough he was by brutalizing a senior, our father, without taking any valuable thing from him.
The allegedly who took our father's life must be held responsible for the maximum sentence.

Conclusion
This fund will also go towards other miscellaneous expenses, better special education needed for his grandchildren, and covering mental health and grief counseling for Ratanapakdee’s family, especially for our disabled family members.

Thank you for your donation! We are incredibly grateful!
