Let's help Julie Robins of Aiken Horsemanship Academy get to Oklahoma City, OK for the American Horsewoman Challenge! It's a huge honor for Julie to be selected as a competitor for this prestigious event. She has been working since April to bring along Carolina Moonshine, a 3-year old quarter horse gelding who had a rough start in life. This young horse had not been handled much and was a rescue from the nurse mare world through Dream Equine Therapy Center. WIth Julie's expertise this young horse has blossomed into a wonderful partner and a worthy competitor.
Now they need our help to take the financial stress off of the journey to the competition in OK on Oct. 3-5, 2014. It's a two-day drive with the truck and trailer, and they will be in Oklahoma City for a week! As you know, being on the road with horses can add up quickly! Let's show her some support and help her focus on winning, knowing that her expenses are covered!
You can follow her progress on Mondays on her blog at http://julierobins.com/blog in her Moonshine Mondays posts!
