I'm trying to raise money to help my parents, John and Donna Day. John has had a rough year with several hospital stays and declining health. The Days had to suddenly move to Grace House Elder Care, Big Bear City, in September because John was no longer capable of taking care of himself and Donna.
Grace House costs $4,000 a month and they still have a large mortgage payment until the house sells. John is also recovering from major cancer surgery, and is now faced with the decision whether or not to have radiation therapy. This photo of John and Donna was taken at least seven years ago, in better days.
John served the community for over 20 years as the Big Bear City Fire Department chaplain, as well as other types of involvement within the community and his church.
Unfortunately, our family does not have the financial resources for their nursing home care, and medical bills have drained their financial resources so we are reaching out to the community. Any help would be appreciated.
All money raised will be given directly to John and Donna Day. Please repost on your own social media page if you know anyone that knows my parents and would like to help. Thank you!!
