My Education

As many of you know, I've been attending Andrews University for the past two years. While I've been there I've had the opportunity to grow in my knowledge, faith, and in my friendships with others on campus. If you don't know already, I'm pursuing a double major, Photography & Media Studies. This past year I had the privilege of holding the role as Photo Editor for AU's campus newspaper "Student Movement" (https://www.facebook.com/ausmnews?ref=hl). I was also the Relationship's Editor for Envision Magazine (http://www.andrews.edu/envision/blog/). AND I won a couple of photo contests, one of which I received the iPad Air as my first-place prize!
I love Andrews (even though it becomes the Antarctic in the winter time!) and I really want to continue attending for my junior year. But they won't let me come back until I've paid off last semester and I could use all the help I can get. I've taken out student loans and applied for numerous scholarships, I worked two jobs this past semester and have been doing side jobs in order to raise the funds but it's still not enough.
I understand that by you investing in my education you are also investing in my future.
With that said, I want to create a Christian magazine for young women that will not only be faith-based but will also educate them on politics and history, and will help them become more confident in themselves, as well as include good ol' fashion/beauty tips & tricks. These are just a few examples, there are many other visions in my head.
I'm a very ambitious and passionate young woman who has had this dream since I was 11 and I won't stop at anything until I achieve it. Andrews has given me the tools I need to be as successful as I can be.
To break it down for you:

If you absolutely cannot give even $1, I just ask that you please keep me in your prayers as I work towards my goal.
