Joe McGinnis’ Funeral Arrangements

Friends,

We have experienced the unexpected and sudden loss of a very important and central part of the McGinnis family, Joe. Joe was nothing short of a wonderful man.  He was creative and funny.  He was a writer, a dreamer, a poet, and a very active member of Narcolepsy/Cataplexy discussion groups (as he suffered from both of these conditions). Joe was the sort of man that could make an instant impression on you with his wit and charm from the moment you met.  Joe knew no strangers and could talk to anyone about anything at great length.  He was a true master of conversation. Joe was also blessed in his life to be a follower of Christ. He was a wonderfully refreshing free spirit that will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Joe was a loving and caring father and grandfather who leaves behind two sons, a daughter, a young granddaughter, as well as a very large extended family and countless friends all around the Charlotte area, as he was a native of this area.

Unfortunately, there is no current life insurance policy or funding set up to help with all the final expenses.  In the spirit of locals helping locals, we would like to reach out to you here and humbly ask for your help.
