Jody ovarian cancer support fund

Jody  is the mother and sole provider of two sons. Ten years ago she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, and has been battling this horrible disease ever since. She has persevered through multiple surgeries and rounds of chemotherapy while trying to raise her sons in as normal an environment as possible. Jody never complained and was always very strong for her sons and husband. Four years ago, however, her beloved husband died tragically. He was the backbone and main provider of their family.

Since then, Jody has continued to work (at Allegheny General Hospital) including weekends, holidays, and days when her treatment barely allowed her to get out of bed. Sadly, Jody recently had to stop working because of her cancer.

Funds are needed for her medical costs as well as household family expenses as her disability insurance is coming to an end.
